1. Grid Connected Three-Level Converters : Studies for Wave Energy Conversion
Abstract : This thesis presents an electrical system analysis of a wave energy converter (WEC) for the objective of grid connection. To transfer the enormous amount of power from waves to the load centers, efficient power electronic systems are essential. READ MORE

2. Off the grid
Abstract : Off the grid is an artistic research thesis which puts a Swedish housing estate in a video interview dialogue with homeowners in the Northeastern US through focusing on three topics: travel, self-definition, and community. Based on the situated, visual and conceptual image the project merges seemingly incompatible experiences: eight residents in Husby, an immigrant community outside Stockholm, and eight households not connected to the utility grid, in upstate areas of New England and New York State – and two artistic researchers at University of Gothenburg. 3. Grid-Connected Voltage Source Converter - Control Principles and Wind Energy Applications
Abstract : The thesis focuses on a forced-commutated voltage source converter (VSC) connected to a grid in a wind energy application. The work consists of four parts. The first part addresses the type of electrical system which should be used in a wind turbine. READ MORE

4. Integration of Battery and Hydrogen Storage with a Grid-Connected Photovoltaic System in Buildings
Abstract : The integration of Photovoltaic (PV) with buildings changes the previous electricity consumers into prosumers. The reduced PV subsidies and the grid stable operation requirements are pushing prosumers from direct exportation to self-consumption of the produced electricity. READ MORE

5. Solar Variability Assessment and Grid Integration : Methodology Development and Case Studies
Abstract : During the 21st century there has been a tremendous increase in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) capacity globally, due to falling prices and introduction of economic incentives. PV systems are in most cases small-scale, installed on residential dwellings, which means that the power production is widely distributed and close to the end-user of electricity. READ MORE
