  3. 3. Magnetization Dynamics in Ferromagnetic Thin Films : Evaluation of Different Contributions to Damping in Co2FeAl and FeCo Film Structures

    Author : Serkan Akansel; Peter Svedlindh; Olof Karis; Erik Wahlström; Uppsala universitet; []

    Abstract : Static and dynamic magnetic properties of Co2FeAl and Fe65Co35 alloys have been investigated. Co2FeAl films were deposited at different temperatures and the deposition parameters were optimized with respect to structural and magnetic properties. As a result, a film with B2 crystalline phase was obtained without any post-annealing process. READ MORE

  4. 4. Spin Torque and Spin Hall Nano-Oscillators with Single Magnetic Layers

    Author : Philipp Dürrenfeld; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Spintronics; Spin Torque Oscillators; Spin Hall Effect; Synchronization;

    Abstract : Spin-torque oscillators (STOs) are capable of producing tunable broadband high-frequency signals within a nanometer-sized region. In this thesis, novel designs for STOs will be discussed; the common theme of these designs will be their use of only one ferromagnetic (FM) material. READ MORE
