21. Towards Runtime-Assisted Cache Management for Task-Parallel Programs
Abstract : Architects have adopted the shared memory model that implicitly manages cache coherence and cache capacity in hardware, mainly to aid programmability of multi-core architectures. The hardware mechanisms are however prone to inefficiencies because they are not tailored to the behavior of individual parallel applications. READ MORE

22. Astrophysical and Collider Signatures of Extra Dimensions
Abstract : In recent years, there has been a large interest in the subject of extra dimensions in particle physics. In particular, a number of models have been suggested which provide solutions to some of the problems with the current Standard Model of particle physics, and which could be tested in the next generation of high-energy experiments. 23. Towards empirically grounded guidance for resource efficiency: Applying, developing and synthesising environmental assessments
Abstract : Numerous solutions have been proposed to mitigate environmental damage, including resource efficiency and the vision of circular economy. Suggested solutions are often formulated as guidelines and heuristics like in the EU waste hierarchy, so-called R-hierarchies for resource efficiency and various guidelines for circular business models. 24. Reconfigurable-Hardware Accelerated Stream Aggregation
Abstract : High throughput and low latency stream aggregation is essential for many applications that analyze massive volumes of data in real-time. Incoming data need to be stored in a single sliding-window before processing, in cases where incremental aggregations are wasteful or not possible at all. READ MORE

25. Why Grundnorm? A Treatise on the Implications of Kelsen's Doctrine
Abstract : The treatise is concerned with the source-—the “Grund”--of the bindingness of law. I contend, first, that the “presupposition” of the basic norm, on a certain reading of Kelsen’s doctrine, can be understood as constituting a normative source of positive law, and, secondly, that this reading of Kelsen admits of addressing the issue of the (formal) legitimacy of supra-national and “directly applicable” rules and other norms.
