    Abstract : A number of manganese compounds have been studied with different spectroscopic methods. The four electronic transitions (fc^n^-a5^*, c5£+-a5£+, d5ïïi-a5S+ and e5Z+-a5£+) in the quintet manifold of MnH have been analyzed.
