  1. 1. Multivariable Frequency-Domain Identification of Industrial Robots

    Author : Erik Wernholt; Svante Gunnarsson; Jan Swevers; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Frequency-domain identification; industrial robots; nonparametric identification; nonlinear gray-box identification; multivariable systems; closed-loop identification; Automatic control; Reglerteknik;

    Abstract : Industrirobotar är idag en väsentlig del i tillverkningsindustrin där de bland annat används för att minska kostnader, öka produktivitet och kvalitet och ersätta människor i farliga eller slitsamma uppgifter. Höga krav på noggrannhet och snabbhet hos robotens rörelser innebär också höga krav på de matematiska modeller som ligger till grund för robotens styrsystem. READ MORE

  2. 2. Viscoelastic Materials : Identification and Experiment Design

    Author : Agnes Rensfelt; Torsten Söderström; Händel Peter; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; viscoelastic materials; complex modulus; system identification; optimal experiment design; distributed parameter systems; frequency domain identification; wave propagation; Automatic control; Reglerteknik; Elektroteknik med inriktning mot reglerteknik; Electrical Engineering with specialization in Automatic Control;

    Abstract : Viscoelastic materials can today be found in a wide range of practical applications. In order to make efficient use of these materials in construction, it is of importance to know how they behave when subjected to dynamic load. READ MORE

  3. 3. On the Identification and Approximation of Linear Systems

    Author : Bo Wahlberg; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Identification; Approximation; Linear systems;

    Abstract : This thesis consists of four parts. In the first one, the connections between system identification and model reduction are discussed. The second part deals with the problem of estimating ARMA models for narrow band processes. READ MORE

  4. 4. On-Line Structure Selection for the Identification of Multivariable Systems

    Author : A J M van Overbeek; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; On-line structure; Identification; Multivariable systems;

    Abstract : An algorithm is described for the selection of mod el structure for identifying multivariable mode Is of"black box" character. The algorithm receives as "input" a mode I in a given parametrization (= mode I structure). It is then tested whether this parametrization is suitable (well conditioned) for identification purposes. 5. 5. Identification of Viscoelastic Materials by Use of Wave Propagation Methods

    Author : Saed Mousavi; Bengt Lundberg; Urmas Valdek; Janne Färm; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Engineering physics; Identification; Viscoelastic; Complex modulus; Complex Poisson s ratio; wave; Impact; Teknisk fysik; Engineering physics; Teknisk fysik;

    Abstract : Complex moduli and Poisson’s ratio have been estimated using extensional and torsional wave experiments. The data were used for assessment of linearity and isotropy of two polymers, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and polypropylene (PP). The responses of both materials were found to be close to linear and isotropic. READ MORE
