2. Capacity of MIMO Dispersive Fading Channels and the Achievable Error Performance of OFDM Signals in Frequency Dispersive Fading Channels
Abstract : Communication over a single-input single-output (SISO) and a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) dispersive fading channel were studied in the context of the ergodic Shannon channel capacity and the achievable error performance. A major contribution to the study is the equivalent SISO and MIMO vector channel models, derived from the corresponding waveform channel models, using a complete orthonormal and finite set of eigenfunctions to represent the waveform channel's output. 3. Price responses to changes in costs and demand
Abstract : A large theoretical and empirical literature has studied the response in prices to changes in demands and costs. Three of the essays in this thesis are empirical studies of price-setting. The most important reason for studying the properties of price adjustments is the possible link between pricing and the business cycle. READ MORE

4. Financial Sector Reforms and Monetary Policy in Zambia
Abstract : The dissertation comprises four chapters focusing on issues concerning policy reforms and monetary policy in Zambia. Chapter 1 briefly outlines the theoretical foundations for the reforms undertaken in Zambia since the mid 1980s and the process thereof. READ MORE

5. Efficient Digital Communication over the Time Continuous Rayleigh Fading Channel
Abstract : Frequency flat, fast Rayleigh fading may be considered the most critical disturbance in a wireless communication system. In its most general form, it is modeled as a multiplicative time continuous random (zero mean complex Gaussian) distortion of the transmitted signal. READ MORE
