  1. 1. Electrical and optical properties of doped tin oxide films

    Author : Bertil Stjerna; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; thin films; resistivity; absorptance; optical properties; transmittance; wide bandgap semiconductor; electrical properties; ionized impurity scattering; oxygen vacancies; flourine; sputtering; antimony; tin oxide;

  2. 2. Electronic properties of double quantum wires in a magnetic field

    Author : Sviatoslav Korepov; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; Fysik; Physics; Fysik; fysik; Physics;

    Abstract : The electronic properties of double quantum wires (DQW) in presence of a per-pendicular magnetic field are investigated theoretically. Analytical solution of theproblem of electronic spectrum is obtained in the framework of the two-subbandmodel for the DQW. READ MORE

  3. 3. Electrical Transport in Nanoparticle Thin Films of Gold and Indium Tin Oxide

    Author : Jesper Ederth; Knut Deppert; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Materials science; Electrical transport; Nanoparticle; Nanocrystalline; Materialvetenskap; Materials science; Teknisk materialvetenskap; English; engelska;

    Abstract : Electrical transport properties of nanoparticle gold films made by the gas evaporation method were analysed using resistivity measurements. Low temperature electrical transport measurements showed a cross-over from a temperature range dominated by inelastic scattering to a temperature range dominated by elastic scattering, presumably by grain boundaries. 4. 4. Spin transport in normal and superconducting nanowires

    Author : Ninos Poli; Vladislav Korenivski; Mark Johnson; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; Fysik;

    Abstract : Todays conventional electronic devices are based on electron charge transport in semiconductor channels. Spintronics is a rapidly emerging technology, which exploits the spin degree of freedom as well as the charge of the electrons. READ MORE

  5. 5. Studies of Topological Superconductors via Defects

    Author : Oladunjoye Awoga; Annica Black-Schaffer; Pascal Simon; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics with spec. in Atomic; Molecular and Condensed Matter Physics; Fysik med inriktning mot atom- molekyl- och kondenserande materiens fysik;

    Abstract : Defects from impurities, edges, junctions or domain walls have local detrimental effects on the superconducting state. Defects are also important in topological superconductors, and useful in studying the properties of the superconducting order parameter. READ MORE
