21. Regulation of Ovarian Aromatase: Studies by Aromatase Assays in vitro and in vivo
Abstract : An in vitro method was developed for measuring aromatase, based on binding of competitive aromatase inhibitor [11C]vorozole to the active site of the enzyme. [11C]Vorozole displayed high, specific binding in vitro to human placenta and human granulosa cells (GC), both fresh and frozen/thawed cells, provided correct procedures were used. READ MORE

22. In Vivo Accuracy and Precision in Prosthodontics
Abstract : Background: There has been a dramatic increase in commercially available intraoral scanners (IOS) in the last decade, offering to replace indirect digitization of models (MOD) fabricated from impressions (IMPR). IOS has benefits of less patient discomfort and a faster workflow to fabricate fixed dental prosthesis (FDP), and implant-supported prostheses (IFD). READ MORE

23. Direct electron transfer based biofuel cells : operating in vitro and in vivo
READ MORE

24. The subthalamic nucleus in motor and affective functions : An optogenetic in vivo-investigation
Abstract : The basal ganglia form a group of subcortical interconnected nuclei involved in motor, limbic and cognitive functions. According to the classical model of the basal ganglia, two main pathways exert opposing control over movement, one facilitating movement and the other suppressing movement. READ MORE

25. Lipid peroxidation in vivo : Evaluation and application of methods for measurement
Abstract : Lipid peroxidation is thought to be an important factor in the pathophysiology of a number of diseases and in the process of ageing, but its measurement in vivo has been difficult. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate methods for measurement of lipid peroxidation in vivo that are suitable for clinical investigations, and to apply these methods in animal and human studies investigating basal conditions and situations associated with increased lipid peroxidation.
