    Author : Olivier Donzel-Gargand; Marika Edoff; Lionel Fourdrinier; Thomas Thersleff; Daniel Abou-Ras; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Electron microscopy; TEM; STEM; EELS; EDS; solar cells; CIGS; ACIGS; CZTS; post deposition treatment; KF; RbF; buffer layers; interfaces; inter layers; barrier layers; passivation layers; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot materialvetenskap; Engineering Science with specialization in Materials Science; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot elektronik; Engineering Science with specialization in Electronics;

    Abstract : The CIS solar cell family features both a high stability and world-class performances. They can be deposited on a wide variety of substrates and absorb the entire solar spectrum only using a thickness of a few micrometers. READ MORE

  2. 2. Engineered temporary networks : Effects of control and temporality on inter-organizational interaction

    Author : Carl Kronlid; Enrico Baraldi; Francesco Ciabuschi; Frida Lind; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : Inter-organizational networks; inter-organizational interaction; network management; control; temporality; temporary networks; Engineering Science with specialization in industrial engineering and management; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot industriell teknik;

    Abstract : The world is facing a growing threat of antibiotic resistance. The development of new antibiotics is of utmost importance; otherwise, we go back to the pre-antibiotic era where common infections become life-threatening. Despite this need for new antibiotics, a market failure is hampering its development. READ MORE

  3. 3. Silicon δ-doping and Isoelectronic Doping in GaAs ans GaN Layers Grown by MBE

    Author : Jan Thordson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; MBE; doping; GaN; III-V; delta-doping; heterostructures; GaAs;

    Abstract : This work concerns MBE-grown material, particularly physical effects due to controlled impurities of Si and N in arsenides, and the growth of nitrides and studies of Al- and As-impurities in them. Apart from interesting physical phenomena there are important device applications. The first part is devoted to studies of Si .delta. READ MORE

  4. 4. Influence of acid hydrogen peroxide treatment on refining energy and TMP properties

    Author : Karin Walter; Per Engstrand; Magnus Paulsson; Lennart Salmén; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TMP; Black Spruce; Energy reduction; Hydrogen peroxide; Ferrous sulphate; Refining; Inter-stage treatment; Pulp and paper properties; Fenton´s reagent; Bleaching; Sodium dithionite; Brightness; Metals; Fibre dimensions; Cross-sectional dimensions; Chemical composition; Cellulose and paper engineering; Cellulosa- och pappersteknik;

    Abstract : The potential of using acid hydrogen peroxide under Fenton conditions to lower the electrical energy consumed during the production of Black spruce (Picea mariana) thermomechanical pulp (TMP) was investigated. The chemical system, which consisted of ferrous sulphate, hydrogen peroxide and optionally an enhancer (3,4-dimethoxybenzyl alcohol, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or oxalic acid/sodium oxalate), was evaluated as an inter-stage treatment where the primary refiner was used as a mixer. 5. 5. Foam Core Materials for High Performance Sandwich Constructions: Preparation, Testing and Properties

    Author : Mikael Danielsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; IPN; core material; low temperature; polyurea; polyethersulfone; gradient structure; foam; PVC; sandwich; waste; fire; smoke; toxicity; mechanical properties; Inter Penetrating Polymer Network; dynamic properties; high temperature;

    Abstract : The basic task for foams used as core materials in sandwich constructions is to separate the skin layers in order to enhance stiffness with little contribution to the total weight. However, modern design in sandwich technology require that core materials contribute to the perfor-mance with specific mechanical and physical properties. READ MORE
