1. Transfer reactions in inverse kinematics at REX-ISOLDE
Abstract : Research on the structure of exotic nuclei is one of the most intriguing topics in present day nuclear physics. With the use of facilities for isotope separation on-line, such as ISOLDE at CERN, short-lived isotopes can be studied experimentally. READ MORE

2. Double Poling Incross-Country Skiing : Biomechanical and Physiological Analysis of Sitting and Standing Positions
Abstract : Double poling (DP) is a sub-technique in cross-country skiing that has increased in interest over the last decades, e.g. athletes in cross-country skiing have increased their utilisation of double poling during competitions. READ MORE

3. Toward a Sustainable Human-Robot Collaborative Production Environment
Abstract : This PhD study aimed to address the sustainability issues of the robotic systems from the environmental and social aspects. During the research, three approaches were developed: the first one an online programming-free model-driven system that utilises web-based distributed human-robot collaboration architecture to perform distant assembly operations. 4. Fragmentation in Proton-Nucleus Reactions from 100 to 1400 MeV
Abstract : The heaviest fragments, recoils, have been studied in proton and deuteron induced 28Si reactions and proton-20Ne reactions at 100-300 MeV per nucleon. Inclusive charge and angular distributions and coincidences between He nuclei and recoils have been compared to two theoretical models, Dubna Cascade Model and JAERI Quantum Molecular Dynamics. 5. Exploring effective descriptions of gauge fields and strings : A Lagrangian approach with insights from color-kinematics duality
Abstract : The concept of a color-kinematics duality is an important driving force in advancing the modern understanding of scattering amplitudes, in both field theory and string theory. Yet, open questions remain that motivate the need for a deeper understanding of the duality. READ MORE
