  1. 1. An Integrated Development Approach for Monitoring and Simulation to Predict Functional Product Availability

    Author : Björn Backe; Mats Näsström; Ove Isaksson; Ola Isaksson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Computer Aided Design; Datorstödd maskinkonstruktion;

    Abstract : For nearly two decades, business models such as Functional Products have been in focus within research and of interest in the manufacturing industry. Functional product offers consist of hardware, software, service -support systems and management of operation which, when developed in an integrated manner, together provide the customer with an agreed-upon function with a specified level of availability. 2. 2. High-resolution measurement of the ¹⁶O(γ,pn) reaction

    Author : Lennart Isaksson; Lunds universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; pn ; E_gamma = 67-76 MeV; resolved states; cross-sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:1996:Isaksson; 16O gamma; Photonuclear reaction;

    Abstract : The 16O(gamma,pn) reaction has been measured with a resolution high enough to resolve individual low-lying states in the residual 14N nucleus. The relative population of the states provides detailed information about the quantum numbers of the proton-neutron pairs on which photons are absorbed. READ MORE

  3. 3. Methods of Measuring Radioactivity in the Environment

    Author : Mats Isaksson; Kärnfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; radioactivity; soil sampling; depth distribution; nuclear weapons fallout; Chernobyl; sewage sludge; deposition; Ekologi; Fysicumarkivet A:1997:Isaksson; Ecology; Kärnfysik; Nuclear physics; Cs-137;

    Abstract : In this thesis a variety of sampling methods have been utilised to assess the amount of deposited activity, mainly of Cs-137, from the Chernobyl accident and from the nuclear weapons tests. Starting with the Chernobyl accident in 1986 sampling of air and rain was used to determine the composition and amount of radioactive debris from this accident, brought to southern Sweden by the weather systems. Abstract : Transport policies in Western Europe are increasingly framed in terms of sustainable mobility. This is a response to an urgent need to tackle adverse consequences of the transport system and implies changes in discourses related to transport. READ MORE

  5. 5. Blood- and tumor-based analyses for improved prognostics in lung cancer

    Author : Sofi Isaksson; Bröstcancer-genetik; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Lung cancer is a common cancer type associated with poor prognosis. Even in the group of patients with earlystage tumors, for which curative treatment is possible, lung cancer recurrence is frequent. READ MORE
