  1. 1. Additive Manufacturing of Ni-Fe Superalloys : Exploring the Alloying Envelope and the Impact of Process on Mechanical Properties

    Author : Carl Johan Hassila; Urban Wiklund; Staffan Jacobson; Johan Moverare; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Additive manufacturing; alloying for AM; PBF-LB; microstructure; tensile and impact testing; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot tribomaterial; Engineering Science with specialization in Tribo Materials;

    Abstract : Additive manufacturing of metals has received a lot of attention in the last decade as this family of manufacturing processes allows the manufacturing of complicated geometries which would be difficult to produce using conventional manufacturing techniques. Additive manufacturing of the Ni-Fe based superalloys 625 and 718 using the Powder Bed Fusion – Laser Beam (PBF-LB) process is facilitated by the fact that these alloys were developed as weldable alternatives to other high-strength, high-temperature Ni-based superalloys. Abstract : This dissertation focuses on the formation, growth and discontinuance of business populations and firms in Sweden during the 20th century. It addresses some key issues in the domain of economic and social sciences, and in particular entrepreneurship and small business research: if and when firms grow, stagnate and decline, as well as how long firms survive and when they are likely to disband. 3. 3. Small Firm Growth and Performance : Entrepreneurship and Beyond

    Author : Johan Wiklund; Jönköping University; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Why is it that some small firms perform well and grow while others do not? Does entrepreneurship play a role in this process? These are the two principal questions addressed in this text.On the basis of an extensive literature review, variables enhancing and restricting small firm growth and performance were identified. 4. 4. Ultrasound Doppler Based In-Line Rheometry - Development, Validation and Application

    Author : Johan Wiklund; Livsmedelsteknik; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Teknik; Chemical technology and engineering; Kemiteknik och kemisk teknologi; Food and drink technology; Livsmedelsteknik; Technological sciences; non-Newtonian; Chemistry; Kemi; process control; In-line rheometry; Doppler; process monitoring; ultrasound;

    Abstract : The trend within fluid industry is towards continuous production, leading to an increasing demand for new and improved methods that allow real-time monitoring of quality parameters and fast process control. The consistency and viscosity can be described by fluid rheology and are frequently used as quality control parameters. READ MORE

  5. 5. Image Sequence Analysis for Tracking of Moving Objects

    Author : Johan Wiklund; Gösta Granlund; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Abstract : There are a number of different algorithms for object motion estimation in image sequences. Almost every algorithm is based on one of three different mathematical methods. An overview of these methods is given, together with some published application examples on object tracking. READ MORE
