1. Network-Based Monitoring of Quality of Experience
Abstract : The recent years have observed a tremendous shift from the technology-centric assessment to the user-centric assessment of network services. Consequently, measurement and modelling of Quality of Experience (QoE) attracted many contributions from researchers and practitioners. Generally, QoE is assessed via active and passive measurements. 2. Magnetron Sputter Epitaxy of GaN
Abstract : Electronic-grade GaN (0001) epilayers have been grown directly on Al2O3 (0001) substrates by reactive DC-magnetron sputter epitaxy (MSE) from a liquid Ga sputtering target in an Ar/N2 atmosphere. The as-grown GaN epitaxial film exhibit low threading dislocation density on the order of ≤ 1010 cm-2 obtained by transmission electron microscopy and modified Williamson-Hall plot. READ MORE

3. Studies of Retroviral Reverse Transcriptase and Flaviviral Protease Enzymes as Antiviral Drug Targets : Applications in Antiviral Drug Discovery & Therapy
Abstract : Viruses are a major threat to humans due to their unique adaptability, evolvability and capability to control their hosts as parasites and genetic elements. HIV/AIDS is the third largest cause of death by infectious diseases in the world, and drug resistance due to the viral mutations is still the leading cause of treatment failure. READ MORE

4. Non-Intrusive Network-Based Estimation of Web Quality of Experience Indicators
Abstract : Quality of Experience (QoE) deals with the acceptance of a service quality by the users and has evolved significantly as an important concept over the past 10 years. Network operators and service providers have gained interest in QoE-aware management of networks, in order to better fulfill end-user demands and gain a competitive edge in the market. READ MORE

5. Magnetron Sputter Epitaxy of GaN Epilayers and Nanorods
Abstract : In this research, electronic-grade GaN(0001) epilayers and nanorods have been grown onto Al2O3(0001) and Si(111) substrates, respectively, by reactive magnetron sputter epitaxy (MSE) using liquid Ga as a sputtering target. MSE, employing ultra high vacuum conditions, high-purity source materials, and lowenergy ion assisted deposition from substrate biasing, is a scalable method, lending itself to large area GaN synthesis.
