    Abstract : Background: Heparin and protamine dosing for anticoagulation during cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) and its reversal after CPB, respectively, is usually given according to body weight. Excess protamine may impair coagulation. The HeProCalc algorithm calculates heparin and protamine doses during the procedure. READ MORE
