1. Atmospheric Corrosion of Lead. The Influence of Organic acid Vapours and Inorganic Air Pollutants. A contribution Towards Understanding the Environmental Degradation of Historic Organ Pipes
Abstract : This thesis presents different perspectives on the atmospheric corrosion of lead, aiming at a better understanding of the environmental degradation of historical organ pipes. Corroded organ pipes from the field have been analyzed and the environment inside the organ wind system has been mapped. READ MORE

2. Decreased furnace wall corrosion in fluidised bed boilers - The influence of fuel lead content and sewage sludge additive
Abstract : Usage of used-wood fuel in the power industry has resulted in increased corrosion problems for metallic materials in the boilers, most probably due to relatively high amounts of chlorine, alkali metals and heavy metals present in the fuel.In this investigation, laboratory exposures were performed in order to study the influence of lead content in a wood-based fuel on the corrosion of selected materials. 3. Atmospheric Corrosion of Historic Lead Organ Pipes
Abstract : The atmospheric corrosion of lead is investigated, with the aim to improve the understanding of the environmental degradation of historical organ pipes. Fieldwork is combined with laboratory investigations. The field studies included characterization of the organ environment and exposures of lead coupons. READ MORE

4. CO Oxidation over Oxide Supported Platinum Catalysts
Abstract : Catalytic oxidation of carbon monoxide (CO) is one of the most studied reactions that still needs to be improved because of its practical use in the chemical industry including feedstock purification and applications such as emission control, in-door air cleaning, improvement of fuel cell efficiency, etc. Concerning CO emissions, the transportation sector is a large contributor.
