  1. 1. Bispidine derivatives as molecular tools for studies of (-Allyl)palladium complexes : Ligand synthesis and analythical cpplications

    Author : Andreas Axén; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Chemistry; Kemi; Chemistry; Kemi; organisk kemi; Organic Chemistry;

    Abstract : Determination of structural and stereochemical features of reaction intermediates in transition metal catalysed reactions is of central interest. Bispidine derivatives as ligands in (π-allyl)palladium complexes in combination with 1H NMR spectroscopy are shown to be useful tools for revealing structural characteristics of these reaction intermediates. Abstract : This work focuses on the design, synthesis, characterization, and application projections of low-coordinated heavy pnictogen-containing (described by the generic letter E, hence E=C) phosphaalkenes (P=C) and arsaalkenes (As=C), with emphasis on the E=C group motifs. The work aims to understand their functional and modular character, reactivity, and potential applications by stabilizing, isolating, and characterizing these species in low-coordination environments. 3. 3. The Synthesis of Molecular Switches Based Upon Ru(II) Polypyridyl Architecture for Electronic Applications

    Author : Robert Steen; Simon Dunne; Jan Bergman; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Molecular Electronics; ruthenium; pyridyl complexes; ligand design; ligand synthesis; Organic chemistry; Organisk kemi; Biotechnology Chemical Engineering; bioteknik kemiteknik;

    Abstract : According to the famous axiom known as Moore’s Law the number of transistors that can be etched on a given piece of silicon, and therefore the computing power, will double every 18 to 24 months. For the last 40 years Moore’s prediction has held true as computers have grown more and more powerful. READ MORE

  4. 4. Synthesis and application of β-configured [18/19F]FDGs : Novel prosthetic CuAAC click chemistry fluoroglycosylation tools for amyloid PET imaging and cancer theranostics

    Author : Mathias Elgland; Peter Konradsson; Peter Nilsson; Per Hammarström; Olof Solin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; FDG; clickable; PET; synthesis; in vivo imaging; theranostics;

    Abstract : Positron emission tomography (PET) is a non-invasive imaging method that renders three-dimensional images of tissue that selectively has taken up a radiolabelled organic compound, referred to as a radiotracer. This excellent technique provides clinicians with a tool to monitor disease progression and to evaluate how the patient respond to treatment. READ MORE
