  1. 16. High-Quality Perovskite Films for Efficient and Stable Light-Emitting Diodes

    Author : Heyong Wang; Feng Gao; Olle Inganäs; Xiaoke Liu; Ifor David William Samuel; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; perovskite light-emitting diodes; efficiency; stability; growth process; ion migration;

    Abstract : Metal halide perovskites have attracted significant attention for light-emitting applications, because of their excellent properties, such as high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs), good charge mobility, narrow emission bandwidth, readily tunable emission spectra ranging from ultraviolet to near-infrared, and solution processability. Since the first room-temperature perovskite-based light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) reported in 2014, tremendous efforts have been made to promote the efficiencies of PeLEDs, including theoretical simulation, materials design, and device engineering. 2. 17. Inorganic-Organic Hybrid Technology for Light Emitting Diodes

    Author : Amal Wadeasa; Magnus Willander; Omer Nour; Rose-Marie Mikström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Abstract : Since the first report of inorganic light emtting diodes a century ago the field of inorganic light emitting diodes has evolved rapidly. T he development of light emitting diodes technology has caused their efficiency and light output to increase exponentially, with a doubling occuring about every 36 months  since the 1960s, in a similar way to Moor´s law. 3. 18. Fabrication and Characterization of ZnO Nanorods Based Intrinsic White Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs)

    Author : Nargis Bano; Omer Nour; Magnus Willander; David Rogers; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : Zinc Oxide nanorods; White light emitting diode; Photoluminescence; Cathodoluminescence; Electroluminescence; Deep level transient spectroscopy DLTS ;

    Abstract : ZnO material based hetero-junctions are a potential candidate for the design andrealization of intrinsic white light emitting devices (WLEDs) due to several advantages overthe nitride based material system. During the last few years the lack of a reliable andreproducible p-type doping in ZnO material with sufficiently high conductivity and carrierconcentration has initiated an alternative approach to grow n-ZnO nanorods (NRs) on other ptypeinorganic and organic substrates. 4. 19. Colors of Life and Optoelectronics: Zinc Porphyrins for Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cells and Organic Photodetectors

    Author : Mariza Mone; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; near-infrared; porphyrins; light emitting electrochemical cell; photomultiplication; optoelectronics; aggregation;

    Abstract : The field of organic optoelectronics constitutes an interdisciplinary field that covers chemistry, physics, materials science and biology. The technological promises of the organic materials over their inorganic counterparts include a lower production cost and the feasibility to be processed through solution-based techniques on large-area and/or flexible substrates. 5. 20. Electronic characterization of molecules with application to organic light emitting diodes

    Author : Emil Jansson; Hans Ågren; Leif Eriksson; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; OLED; DFT; Marcus theory; Response theory; Theoretical chemistry; Teoretisk kemi;

    Abstract : The presented thesis is devoted to the field of organic light emittingdiodes (OLEDs). Time-dependent Kohn-Sham density functional theory(TDDFT) is applied in order to eludicate optical properties such as fluorescence andphosphorescence for some of the most important materials.
