21. Novel approaches for achieving full density powder metallurgy steels
Abstract : Powder metallurgy (PM) is one of the most resource-efficient methods for manufacturing structural components with complex shapes. The utilisation of the metal powder to shape the components allows to minimise material waste and increase energy efficiency. READ MORE

22. High temperature corrosion in a biomass-fired power boiler : Reducing furnace wall corrosion in a waste wood-fired power plant with advanced steam data
Abstract : The use of waste (or recycled) wood as a fuel in heat and power stations is becoming more widespread in Sweden (and Europe), because it is CO2 neutral with a lower cost than forest fuel. However, it is a heterogeneous fuel with a high amount of chlorine, alkali and heavy metals which causes more corrosion than fossil fuels or forest fuel. READ MORE

23. Cyclic behaviour of carburized steel
Abstract : The fatigue properties of carburized low alloyed steel have been investigated. The tests in axial fatigue showed that surface carbon below 0.8% and low amounts of retained austenite are advantageous. In bending fatigue the effects of tempering and of surface condition were studied. READ MORE

24. The Positive Effect of Nitrogen Alloying of Tool Steels Used in Sheet Metal Forming
Abstract : Sheet metal forming processes are mechanical processes, designed to make products from metal sheet without material removal. These processes are applied extensively by the manufacturing industry to produce commodities such as heat exchangers or panels for automotive applications. They are suitable for production in large volumes. READ MORE

25. High Temperature Corrosion in Gasification of Biomass and Waste The effect of H2 and H2O
Abstract : Gasification of biomass and waste is a key issue in reducing the usage of fossil fuels especially in the transportation section (i.e. fuels for vehicles) and thus enabling a more sustainable society. The chemical composition of the produced gas dictates the boundaries within which e. READ MORE
