1. Truck Tyre Vibration Behaviour. Measurements and High Frequency Modelling
Abstract : To facilitate tyre-road noise prediction, a computationally efficient high frequency tyre model is needed. Such models are always a compromise between the desired accuracy and the need for simplicity. In addition the accuracy of models is often limited by the quality of the input data available. READ MORE

2. Low-frequency noise characterization, evaluation and modeling of advanced Si- and SiGe-based CMOS transistors
Abstract : A wide variety of novel complementary-metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) devices that are strong contenders for future high-speed and low-noise RF circuits have been evaluated by means of static electrical measurements and low-frequency noise characterizations in this thesis. These novel field-effect transistors (FETs) include (i) compressively strained SiGe channel pMOSFETs, (ii) tensile strained Si nMOSFETs, (iii) MOSFETs with high-k gate dielectrics, (iv) metal gate and (v) silicon-on-insulator (SOI) devices. 3. Multidirectional Mobilities - Advanced Measurement Techniques and Applications
Abstract : Today high noise-and-vibration comfort has become a quality sign of products in sectors such as the automotive industry, aircraft, components, households and manufacturing. Consequently, already in the design phase of products, tools are required to predict the final vibration and noise levels. READ MORE

4. Measurement and Application of Multidirectional Mobilities
Abstract : The direct measurement of moment mobility, employing a twin exciter technique, is theoretically and experimentally examined. This is continued by a theoretical and experimental analysis of an improved technique using source signal filtering, for two degrees of freedom, for the measurement of multidirectional mobilities. 5. Spinal mobility, muscle strength and function in patients with idiopathic scoliosis. Different aspects on long term outcome
Abstract : Introduction: The long-term physical function outcome in patients treated for idiopathic scoliosis (IS) during childhood and adolescence has not been fully explored. In addition, there is a lack of studies where different methods to measure pulmonary function are validated in patients with early onset scoliosis. READ MORE
