    University dissertation from Institutionen för produktionssystem

    Author : Gunnar Erixon; KTH.; [1998]
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : This thesis introduces a method and procedure for thedevelopment of modular products including a tool for evaluationof modular concepts based on case studies, empirical data foundin test examples and accepted design theories.The method is called Modular Function Deployment (MFD) andconsists of five major steps. 3. 3. Glycoside hydrolases from Rhodothermus marinus Modular organisation and structure-function relationships

    University dissertation from Maher Abou Hachem, Kämnärsvägen 13, E105, 226 46 Lund, Sweden

    Author : Maher Abou-Hachem; Lunds universitet.; Lund University.; [2003]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; calcium-binding; modular; endoglucanase; thermostable; CBM; xylanase; Biotechnology; Bioteknik;

    Abstract : The thermophilic bacterium Rhodothermus marinus produces several thermostable glycoside hydrolases. The studies presented in this thesis were performed on two enzymes, belonging to glycoside hydrolase families 10 and 12, produced by this microorganism. The family 10 xylanase, Xyn10A, is modular in architecture consisting of five domains or modules. READ MORE

  4. 4. Admissible covers, modular operads and modular forms

    University dissertation from Stockholm : KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Author : Dan Petersen; KTH.; [2011]

    Abstract : This thesis contains three articles related to operads and moduli spaces of admissible covers of curves. In Paper A we isolate cohomology classes coming from modular forms inside a certain space of admissible covers, thereby showing that this moduli space can be used as a substitute for a Kuga–Sato variety. 5. 5. Decentralized Modular Router Architectures

    University dissertation from Stockholm : KTH

    Author : Markus Hidell; KTH.; [2006]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Internet; Router architectures; Communication systems; Distributed systems; TECHNOLOGY Information technology Telecommunication; TEKNIKVETENSKAP Informationsteknik Telekommunikation;

    Abstract : The Internet grows extremely fast in terms of number of users and traffic volume, as well as in the number of services that must be supported. This development results in new requirements on routers—the main building blocks of the Internet. READ MORE
