  1. 16. Color Prediction and Separation Models in Printing : Minimizing the Colorimetric and Spectral Differences employing Multiple Characterization Curves

    Author : Yuanyuan Qu; Sasan Gooran; Roger D. Hersch; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Color prediction models and color separation models are essential for print device characterization and calibration, from which the profiles used in color management systems are built up. Dot gain refers to the phenomenon in printing causing the printed ink dots appear bigger than their reference size in the original bitmap. READ MORE

  2. 17. Study of Mutual Coupling in Finite Antenna Arrays for Massive MIMO Applications

    Author : Tomislav Marinovic; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; multiple scattering; Massive MIMO; mutual coupling MC ; 5G; iterative methods; base station antenna BSA ;

    Abstract : This thesis focuses on the study of mutual coupling (MC) in finite antenna arrays for base station antennas (BSAs) for Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) applications, with an emphasis on the development of a computationally-efficient modeling technique for the analysis of MC which can be readily applied in the design or synthesis schemes for BSAs. Traditionally, the effects of MC have been ignored or underestimated in the analyses performed within the information-theoretic-based communities by assuming idealized antenna elements with no MC between them or by considering the fictitious isotropic radiator models. 3. 18. Hepatitis C virus infection : a nationwide study of associated morbidity and mortality

    Author : Ann-Sofi Duberg; Erik Bäck; Karl Ekdahl; Rolf Hultcrantz; Anders Blaxhult; Johan Carlson; Örebro universitet; []
    Keywords : HCV; hepatitis C; epidemiology; non-Hodgkin s lymphoma; NHL; multiple myeloma; primary liver cancer; HCC; mortality; inpatient care; hospitalization; MEDICINE; MEDICIN; Infektionssjukdomar; Infectious Diseases; Epidemiology; Epidemiologi; Medicin; Medicine;

    Abstract : The hepatitis C virus (HCV) was characterised in 1989. HCV was transmitted through transfusion of blood/blood products, but injection drug use is now the most common route of transmission. READ MORE

  4. 19. Multiple marketing channel conflict with a focus on the internet

    Author : Lena Goldkuhl; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Industriell marknadsföring; Industrial Marketing;

    Abstract : The emergence of electronic commerce has led more and more companies to, in addition to using resellers, add the Internet to sell directly to its end customers, something that inevitably will create channel conflict. The way companies handle such conflict is considered an important success factor. READ MORE

  5. 20. Modelling and controlling an offset lithographic printing process

    Author : Cristofer Englund; Högskolan i Halmstad; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Neural networks; Self-organizing map; Data mining; Outlier detection; Committee; Multiple models; Colour print control; Image analysis; Bildanalys;

    Abstract : The objective of this thesis is to provide methods for print quality enhancements in an offset lithographic printing proess. Various parameters characterising the print quality are recognised, however, in this work print quality is defined as the deviation of the amount of ink in a sample image from the reference print.
