21. Double Poling Incross-Country Skiing : Biomechanical and Physiological Analysis of Sitting and Standing Positions
Abstract : Double poling (DP) is a sub-technique in cross-country skiing that has increased in interest over the last decades, e.g. athletes in cross-country skiing have increased their utilisation of double poling during competitions. READ MORE

22. Musculoskeletal disorders in Swedish military aircrew : screening and clinical examination of the cervico-thoracic region
Abstract : Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) are a common and growing occupational problem in military aircrew. Intervention studies attempting to reduce such issues have only showed limited preventive effects. Furthermore, in-depth knowledge of the clinical presentation of aircrew members with painful episodes is lacking. READ MORE

23. On the Utility of Representation Learning Algorithms for Myoelectric Interfacing
Abstract : Electrical activity produced by muscles during voluntary movement is a reflection of the firing patterns of relevant motor neurons and, by extension, the latent motor intent driving the movement. Once transduced via electromyography (EMG) and converted into digital form, this activity can be processed to provide an estimate of the original motor intent and is as such a feasible basis for non-invasive efferent neural interfacing. 24. Biomechanical Parameter Estimation for Wearable Exoskeleton System Design
Abstract : Exoskeletons are increasingly used in rehabilitation and daily life in persons with motor disorders after neurological injuries. The overall objective of this thesis is to study how to robustly and accurately predict joint torque using inputs from sensors that would technically be feasible to equip on an assistive exoskeleton, and to develop a framework that could be used to evaluate the user-exoskeleton interface. 25. Neck pain in air force pilots : on risk factors, neck motor function and an exercise intervention
Abstract : Neck pain is a medical problem in modern military aviation. While neck exercises are recommended, clinical trials of neck motor function have been less investigated. READ MORE
