  1. 1. Development and Applications of Detailed Kinetic Models for the Soot Particle Size Distribution Function

    Author : Karl Netzell; Förbränningsfysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fysik; flamelet model; Physics; particle distribution; soot; moment method; sectional method; particle size distribution function;

    Abstract : Two different mathematical methods of implementing a detailed kinetic soot model have been employed in this work. 2. 2. Empirical studies of property appraiser behaviour and of location value in office rents

    Abstract : In the first paper the effect of accessibility upon rent is investigated for office properties located in Downtown Stockholm. Starting from the firm’s cost minimization problem, a translog hedonic model is derived. The results suggest the model has good predictive power in explaining the variation in the log of the rent.     Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; rent; space syntax; valuation; index; real estate; accessibility; capitalisation rate; Economics; Nationalekonomi;

    Abstract : The first two papers in this dissertation discuss a fairly recently developed research field, Space Syntax, and how the findings in this field may be used to understand spatial economic patterns such as geographic distribution of market rents. Both papers use standard econometric methods to investigate the relationship between rents and the so called integration value developed within Space Syntax. READ MORE
