    Abstract : Background: Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS) and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) are proposed diagnoses combining a clinical picture of acute onset obsessive compulsive disorder, tics or eating disorders with a suggested inflammatory pathogenesis.
