6. Rhodium diesel-reforming catalysts for fuel cell applications
Abstract : Heavy-duty diesel truck engines are routinely idled at standstill to provide cab heating or air conditioning, and in addition to supply electricity to comfort units such as radio and TV. Idling is an inefficient and unfavorable process resulting in increased fuel consumption, increased emissions, shortened engine life, impaired driver rest and health, and elevated noise. READ MORE

7. Characterization of the structure, stratigraphy and CO2 storage potential of the Swedish sector of the Baltic and Hanö Bay basins using seismic reflection methods
Abstract : An extensive multi-channel seismic dataset acquired between 1970 and 1990 by Oljeprospektering AB (OPAB) has recently been made available by the Geological Survey of Sweden (SGU). This thesis summarizes four papers, which utilize this largely unpublished dataset to improve our understanding of the geology and CO2 storage capacity of the Baltic and Hanö Bay basins in southern Sweden. 8. On biomedical electrode technology : with special reference to long-term properties and movement-induced noise in surface electrodes
Abstract : The aim of the present investigation was to improve the quality of surface electrode measurements. Long-term properties of commercially available ECG-electrodes were studied by investigating polarization potentials, electrode impedance, adhesion and skin reactions during a period of 7 days. 9. Single-Zone Cylinder Pressure Modeling and Estimation for Heat Release Analysis of SI Engines
Abstract : Cylinder pressure modeling and heat release analysis are today important and standard tools for engineers and researchers, when developing and tuning new engines. Being able to accurately model and extract information from the cylinder pressure is important for the interpretation and validity of the result. READ MORE
