1. Non-linear Free Boundary Problems
Abstract : This thesis consists of an introduction and four research papers related to free boundary problems and systems of fully non-linear elliptic equations.Paper A and Paper B prove optimal regularity of solutions to general elliptic and parabolic free boundary problems, where the operators are fully non-linear and convex. 2. Boundary Estimates for Solutions to Parabolic Equations
Abstract : This thesis concerns the boundary behavior of solutions to parabolic equations. It consists of a comprehensive summary and four scientific papers. The equations concerned are different generalizations of the heat equation.Paper I concerns the solutions to non-linear parabolic equations with linear growth. READ MORE

3. Studies of the Boundary Behaviour of Functions Related to Partial Differential Equations and Several Complex Variables
Abstract : This thesis consists of a comprehensive summary and six scientific papers dealing with the boundary behaviour of functions related to parabolic partial differential equations and several complex variables.Paper I concerns solutions to non-linear parabolic equations of linear growth. 4. Parabolic equations with low regularity
Abstract : In this work we study a variational method for treating parabolic equations that yields new results for non-linear equations with low regularity on source and boundary data. We treat mainly strongly parabolic quasilinear equations and systems in divergence form. READ MORE

5. Asymptotic analysis of solutions to elliptic and parabolic problems
Abstract : In the thesis we consider two types of problems. In Paper 1, we studysmall solutions to a time-independent nonlinear elliptic partial differential equation of Emden-Fowler type in a semi-infnite cylinder. The asymptotic behaviour of these solutions at infnity is determined. First, the equation under the Neumann boundary condition is studied. READ MORE
