1. Clavicular Fractures, Epidemiology, Union, Malunion, Nonunion
Abstract : During a three-year period (1989-91), all patients living in the county of Uppsala, Sweden, with a radiographically verified fracture of the clavicle were prospectively, consecutively followed (n=245). 2. Enhancing bone healing through concurrent anabolic- and anti-catabolic pharmacological treatment
Abstract : Most fractures heal uneventfully but some evolve into nonunions. Autologous bone graft is the gold standard for stimulating healing. However, donor site morbidity, and limited graft supply make alternatives interesting. Bone Morphogenetic Proteins, BMPs, are growth factors involved in bone signaling. READ MORE

5. Clavicle Fractures : Epidemiology, classification, treatment and outcome, with emphasis on displaced lateral clavicle fractures

The overall aim of the thesis is to acquire knowledge that may help guide treatment decisions for clavicle fractures, with an emphasis on displaced lateral fractures. READ MORE
