  1. 1. Flexible Robot to Object Interactions Through Rigid and Deformable Cages

    Author : Alejandro Marzinotto; Danica Kragic; Henrik Gordon Petersen; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; planning; control; perception; caging; cage; grasping; multi-agent; robot; robotic; knot; knotting; behaviour trees; behavior trees; action scheduling; RRT; Computer Science; Datalogi;

    Abstract : In this thesis we study the problem of robotic interaction with objects from a flexible perspective that complements the rigid force-closure approach. In a flexible interaction the object is not firmly bound to the robot (immobilized), which leads to many interesting scenarios. READ MORE

  2. 2. Path-Connectivity of the Free Space : Caging and Path Existence

    Author : Anastasiia Varava; Danica Kragic; Alberto Rodriguez; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Robotics; Manipulation; Caging; Computer Science; Datalogi;

    Abstract : The notion of configuration space is a tool that allows to reason aboutan object’s mobility in a unified manner. The problem of verifying path non-existence can be considered as dual to path planning. READ MORE

  3. 3. Parallelized Program Analysis

    Author : Marcus Edvinsson; Welf Löwe; Uwe Aßmann; Linnéuniversitetet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Computer Science; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : This thesis presents a framework for parallelized program analysis. It uses available parallel processing power in standard desktop computers to speed up static program analysis.Today, processor chip manufacturers produce single processor chips containing multiple cores, each with a processing power of previous single-core processors. 4. 4. Galaxies in the epoch of reionization : Investigating the high-redshift galaxy population through simulations and observations

    Author : Christian Binggeli; Erik Zackrisson; Sofia Ramstedt; Martin Sahlén; Stephen Wilkins; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; galaxies: high-redshift; galaxies: ISM; galaxies: evolution; reionization; Lyman continuum; Astronomy; Astronomi;

    Abstract : The cosmic reionization is the last major gas phase transition in cosmic history, yet it remains poorly understood. Current constraints indicate that early star-forming galaxies drove the reionization process through producing and releasing large numbers of ionizing photons into the intergalactic medium. 5. 5. Photoresponse of Patterned YBa2Cu3O7-x Thin Films

    Author : Martin Danerud; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The first object of this work was to develop YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) thin films. Initially, Y, BaF2 and Cu were coevaporated with the substrate temperature (TS) 400 °C and the oxygen pressure (pO2) 5 x 10-5 mbar on SrTiO3 substrates with a subsequent high temperature annealing at 890 °C for 15 min in flowing wet oxygen.
