  1. 16. Synthesis and application of β-configured [18/19F]FDGs : Novel prosthetic CuAAC click chemistry fluoroglycosylation tools for amyloid PET imaging and cancer theranostics

    Author : Mathias Elgland; Peter Konradsson; Peter Nilsson; Per Hammarström; Olof Solin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; FDG; clickable; PET; synthesis; in vivo imaging; theranostics;

    Abstract : Positron emission tomography (PET) is a non-invasive imaging method that renders three-dimensional images of tissue that selectively has taken up a radiolabelled organic compound, referred to as a radiotracer. This excellent technique provides clinicians with a tool to monitor disease progression and to evaluate how the patient respond to treatment. READ MORE

  2. 17. Conformational and Dynamical Aspects of Conjugated Polymers and Oligomers of Interest for Photoluminescence

    Author : Mette Grage; Kemisk fysik; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; femtosecond spectroscopy; conformations; anisotropy; excitation transfer; oligothiophene radical cations; MEH-PPV; Conjugated polymers; polythiophene; resonance Raman spectroscopy.; Chemistry; Kemi; Physics; Fysik;

    Abstract : Transient absorption laser spectroscopy and resonance Raman spectrscopy have been used to study conjugated polymers and oligomers. To extract more information the measurements have been compared to computer simulations and calculations. READ MORE

  3. 18. Fluorescent thiophene-based ligands for detection and characterization of disease-associated protein aggregates

    Author : Therése Klingstedt; Peter Nilsson; Per Hammarström; Henrik Zetterberg; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : In this thesis the unique optical properties of fluorescent ligands termed luminescent conjugated oligothiophenes (LCOs) have been used to study a variety of protein aggregates associated with human protein misfolding disease. This heterogeneous group of diseases contains well known and fatal members such as Alzheimer´s and Huntington´s disease and the development of sensitive tools for the detection and characterization of protein aggregates is crucial for unravelling the complexity of these pathologies. 4. 19. Luminescence properties of flexible conjugated dyes

    Author : Jonas Sjöqvist; Patrick Norman; Mikael Lindgren; Jacob Kongsted; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; force field; molecular dynamics; linear absorption; QM MM; absorption spectrum; emission spectrum; water solvation; stokes shift;

    Abstract : In this licentiate thesis the luminescence properties of two flexible conjugated dyes have been studied. The first, Pt1, is a platinum(II) acetylide chromophore used in optical power limiting materials. READ MORE

  5. 20. Organic Heavy Group 14 Element Compounds : A Study of Their Chemical Bonding Properties Directed Towards Applications as Molecular Wires and in Synthesis
