    Abstract : Radionuclide molecular imaging is an emerging multidisciplinary technique that is used in modern medicine to visualise diseases at cellular and molecular levels. This thesis is based on five papers (I-V) and focuses on the development of site-specific radiolabelled recombinant anti-HER2 Affibody molecules and preclinical evaluations in vitro and in vivo of the labelled conjugates. 2. 17. Investigating ALK inhibitors alone or in combination as therapeutic options for ALK-positive neuroblastoma

    Author : Muhammad Wasi Alam; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neuroblastoma; Oncology; Anaplastic lymphoma kinase ALK ; Dihydroorotate Dehydrogenase DHODH ;

    Abstract : Neuroblastoma (NBL) is the third most common pediatric cancer after leukemia and cranial tumours and accounts for around 15% of death in pediatric malignancy. NBL develops due to the poorly differentiated progenitor cells of the sympathetic nervous system. READ MORE

    Abstract : Cancers in the neural system presents a major health challenge. The most aggressive brain tumor in adults, glioblastoma, has a median survival of 15 months and few therapeutic options. High-risk neuroblastoma, a childhood tumor originating in the sympathetic nervous system, has a 5-year survival under 50%, despite extensive therapy. READ MORE

  4. 19. Hodgkin Lymphoma : Studies of Advanced Stages, Relapses and the Relation to Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas

    Author : Rose-Marie Amini; Volker Diehl; Uppsala universitet; []

    Abstract : The relationship between Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is not entirely elucidated and a clonal relation may be present more often than previously believed. Mechanisms of tumour progression and resistance to therapy are poorly understood.Between 1974 and 1994 all individuals in Sweden with both HL and NHL were identified. READ MORE

  5. 20. Long-term side effects after treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma
