  1. 1. To be at one's best : The evolution of Optimal Functionality and its possible implementation in an ICT-platform

    Author : Samal Algilani; Annica Kihlgren; Agneta Schröder; Stefan Sävenstedt; Örebro universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; older adults; optimal functionality; scoping review; focus group; qualitative content analysis; mental health; interviews; phenomenological approach; ICT-platform;

    Abstract : At the Nutrition and Physical Activity Research Centre for Optimal Health and Functionality through Life (NUPARC), a research gap was uncovered regarding the concept optimal functionality based on the older adult’s own perspective. The overall aim was to explore the concept of optimal functionality among older adults and the possibility of creating and developing an ICT-platform to measure it. READ MORE

    Abstract : This work focuses on the design, synthesis, characterization, and application projections of low-coordinated heavy pnictogen-containing (described by the generic letter E, hence E=C) phosphaalkenes (P=C) and arsaalkenes (As=C), with emphasis on the E=C group motifs. The work aims to understand their functional and modular character, reactivity, and potential applications by stabilizing, isolating, and characterizing these species in low-coordination environments. 3. 3. Optimal Design of Neuro-Mechanical Networks

    Author : Carl-Johan Thore; Anders Klarbring; Matts Karlsson; Petter Krus; Mathias Stolpe; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Many biological and artificial systems are made up from similar, relatively simple elements that interact directly with their nearest neighbors. Despite the simplicity of the individual building blocks, systems of this type, network systems, often display complex behavior — an observation which has inspired disciplines such as artificial neural networks and modular robotics.
