1. Mediator and its role in non-coding RNA and chromatin regualtion
Abstract : Mediator is a multiprotein complex required for the regulation of RNA Polymerase II (Pol II) transcription. Mediator transmits regulatory signals from activators and repressors to the Pol II machinery at the promoter, but the complex has also many other functions related to control of gene transcription. 2. Ellipsometric studies of SiC in the infrared, visual and ultraviolet spectral region
Abstract : Spectroscopic ellipsometry has been used to determine the dielectric function of the most common polytypes, 3C, 4H and 6H, of SiC and also of some related materials. Measurements have been performed in the infrared, visible and ultraviolet energy region. READ MORE

3. Optical characterization of wide band gap materials by spectroscopic ellipsometry
Abstract : Spectroscopic ellipsometry has been employed in the study of wide band gap materials. Ellipsometry is based on the study of changes in the polarization state of light upon reflection on a surface. READ MORE

4. Drivers of carbon sink function in tropical seagrass beds : influence of carbon import, plant composition, seascape configuration and human activities
Abstract : Seagrass meadows are effective carbon sinks, sequestering atmospheric CO2 and capturing allochthonous organic material, storing organic carbon (Corg) in their sediments, so called Blue Carbon. In tropical areas, seagrass meadows have a high number of calcareous organisms, which can offset carbon sequestration by releasing CO2 through their calcification. READ MORE
