  1. 6. Fabrication and Photoelectrochemical Applications of II-VI Semiconductor Nanomaterials

    Author : Abhilash Sugunan; Muhammet Toprak; Mamoun Muhammed; Gerrit Boschloo; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; ZnO; nanowire arrays; photocatalysis; CdTe; CdSe; CdS; nanotetrapods; nanotetrahedrons; photoconduction; nano-gap electrodes; Type-II QDs; P3HT nanofibers; microwave synthesis.;

    Abstract : In this work we investigated fabrication of semiconductor nanomaterials and evaluated their potential for photo-chemical and photovoltaic applications. We investigated different II-VI semiconductor nanomaterial systems; (i) ZnO oriented nanowire arrays non-epitaxially grown from a substrate; and (ii) colloidal CdE (E=Te,Se,S) quantum structures synthesized by solution-based thermal decomposition of organo-metallic precursors. Abstract : Carbon nanotubes are carbon based structures with outstanding electronical and mechanical properties. They are used in a wide range of applications, usually embedded in polymer in the form of composites, in order to affect the electronic behavior of the matrix material. READ MORE

  5. 10. High Bandgap FAPbBr3 Perovskite Solar Cells : Preparation, Characterization, and Application

    Author : Yawen Liu; Erik Johansson; Tönu Pullerits; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; High-bandgap FAPbBr3; additives; defect passivation; dopant-free HTMs; 2D perovskites; carbon electrode; oxygen evolution; Chemistry with specialization in Physical Chemistry; Kemi med inriktning mot fysikalisk kemi;

    Abstract : High bandgap lead-halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained interest as top cells for tandem solar cells and photoelectrochemical applications due to their suitable energy bands. However, the PSCs have limited stability and performance, and their fabrication in a glovebox and utilization of expensive metal contacts increase the cost and limit their application. READ MORE
