1. Conjugated materials for organic electronic devices : photoelectron spectroscopy studies
Abstract : Conjugated materials have attracted great attention since the discovery of high conductivity in donor and acceptor doped polyacetylene over two decades ago. The discoveries mentioned below caused, however, that the interest begun to shift towards their pristine semi-conducting state. READ MORE

3. Photoelectron Spectroscopy on HCl and DCl : Synchrotron Radiation Based Studies of Dissociation Dynamics
Abstract : Dissociation dynamics of the ionized molecules HCl and the deuterated system DCl has been studied in gas-phase using synchrotron based photoelectron spectroscopy (PES).The inner-valence "(4σ)-1" photoionization band for DCl and HCl was recorded using maximum resolution in order to probe an interference pattern between a dissociative and a bound electronic state. 4. Photoelectron Spectroscopy of Cuprates and Manganites
Abstract : Abstract In this thesis, the high temperature superconductors (HTSC) La2CuO4+x and Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+d and the colossal magnetoresistive (CMR) La1-xSrxMnO3 have been studied by photoelectron spectroscopy. Techniques such as angular resolved photoemission (ARPES), resonant photoemission spectroscopy (RESPES) and x-ray absorption spectroscopy have been applied, using synchrotron radiation. READ MORE

5. Free Metal Clusters Studied by Photoelectron Spectroscopy
Abstract : Clusters are aggregates of a finite number of atoms or molecules. In the present work, free clusters out of metallic parent materials have been created and studied by synchrotron radiation-based photoelectron spectroscopy. The clusters have been formed and studied in a beam and the electronic structure of the clusters has been investigated. READ MORE
