  1. 1. Some photonuclear reactions

    University dissertation from Håkan Ohlssons Boktryckeri

    Author : Bengt Forkman; [1961]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fysicumarkivet A:47:Forkman;

  2. 2. Verification of high energy photon therapy based on PET/CT imaging of photonuclear reactions

    University dissertation from Stockholm : Department of Physics, Stockholm University

    Author : Sara Janek Strååt; Anders Brahme; Cathrine Jonsson; Iuliana Dasu; Sibylle Ziegler; [2012]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Photonuclear reactions; PET CT treatment verification; High-energy photon therapy; medicinsk strålningsfysik; Medical Radiation Physics;

    Abstract : For classical and intensity modulated radiation therapy of deep-seated tumors, high-energy photons are the optimal radiation modality from an integral dose point of view. By using narrow scanned beams the treatment outcome can be improved substantially by delivering biologically optimized intensity modulated distributions often with sharp dose gradients. READ MORE

  3. 3. Relativistic pole model for few-body photonuclear reactions

    University dissertation from Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

  4. 4. High-resolution measurement of the ¹⁶O(γ,pn) reaction

    University dissertation from Nuclear Physics (Faculty of Technology)

    Author : Lennart Isaksson; [1996]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; pn ; E_gamma = 67-76 MeV; resolved states; cross-sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:1996:Isaksson; 16O gamma; Photonuclear reaction;

    Abstract : The 16O(gamma,pn) reaction has been measured with a resolution high enough to resolve individual low-lying states in the residual 14N nucleus. The relative population of the states provides detailed information about the quantum numbers of the proton-neutron pairs on which photons are absorbed. READ MORE

  5. 5. The (γ,p) reaction in 16O and 18O at Eγ=50 - 70 MeV

    University dissertation from Department of Physics, Lund University

    Author : Per Lilja; [2004]
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 16O γ; Photonuclear reactions; 18O γ; p ; E= 50 - 70 MeV; tagged photons; differential cross sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2004:Lilja;

    Abstract : A measurement of the reactions 16O(γ,p)15N and 18O(γ,p)17N have been made with tagged photons in the energy range Eγ ≈ 50 – 70 MeV. The protons have been detected in ΔE-E telescopes with silicon strip detectors as ΔE detectors and HPGe crystals as E detectors. READ MORE
