1. Radiographers’ professional practice : a Swedish perspective

2. Dynamic fixation of unstable trochanteric hip fractures. A clinical and radiographic evaluation of the Medoff sliding plate
Abstract : In stabilising extracapsular hip fractures, the Medoff sliding plate (MSP) differs from other screw-plates by its compression capacity along the femoral shaft (uniaxial dynamization). Additional compression along the neck of femur can be achieved by primary release of the lag screw (biaxial dynamization). READ MORE

3. Physical and psychophysical properties of digital intraoral radiography
Abstract : Objectives: This thesis aimed to the evaluation of different digital intraoral radiographic systems, partly by defining objective measures of their physical properties, namely their resolution, signal and noise characteristics, and partly by employing methods to measure their psychophysical properties including viewer performance, such as the Perceptibility Curve test. In a next step, a mathematical model was developed to predict Perceptibility Curves without employing viewers. READ MORE

4. Clinical utility and evaluation of radiology in diagnosing sacroiliitis
Abstract : Background: Radiographic confirmation of diagnosis is important in all diagnostic and classification criteria for spondyloarthropathy. The aim was to evaluate computed tomography (CT) and to compare it to radiography. Methods: A pilot study compared radiography and CT in 40 patients with spondyloarthropathy. READ MORE

5. Investigation of asphalt compaction in vision of improving asphalt pavements
Abstract : Asphalt joints are potentially weakest parts of every pavement. Despite of their importance, reliable tools for measuring their mechanical properties for design and performance assessments are still scarce. READ MORE
