1. Predictive Healthcare : Cervical Cancer Screening Risk Stratification and Genetic Disease Markers
Abstract : The use of Machine Learning is rapidly expanding into previously uncharted waters. In the medicine fields there are vast troves of data available from hospitals, biobanks and registries that now are being explored due to the tremendous advancement in computer science and its related hardware. 2. Predictive markers : for treatment sensitivity in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
Abstract : Head and neck cancer is the sixth most common cancer world wide. In Sweden approximately 850 new cases are diagnosed each year, and two thirds are men. The past decades of improved treatment strategies have unfortunately not significantly improved the five-year survival rates for this group of patients. READ MORE

3. Fundamentals of a Methodology for Predictive Design Analysis
Abstract : The rapid development of computer-based design analysis tools and methods such as the finite element method (FEM) within computational structural mechanics (CSM), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and multi-body systems (MBS) during recent decades has fundamentally changed the way in which products are designed and developed. Among the many advantages observed in industrial practice, one can mention improved understanding of product properties and behavior, the possibility to optimize critical design parameters and to optimize parts as well as the entire product at a system level, the possibility to explore a design space during the synthesis activity, and a decrease of the need for physical testing and thus of the number of physical prototypes needed. 4. Intelligent fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance for a bearing ring grinder
Abstract : Predicting the failure of any structure is a difficult task in a mechanical system. However complicated and difficult the prediction might be, the first step is to know the actual condition of the system. READ MORE

5. Mapping the consequenses of physical exercise and nutrition on human health : A predictive metabolomics approach
Abstract : Human health is a complex and wide-ranging subject far beyond nutrition and physical exercise. Still, these factors have a huge impact on global health by their ability to prevent diseases and thus promote health. READ MORE
