  1. 11. Model Checking-Based Software Testing for Function-Block Diagrams

    Author : Eduard Enoiu; Mohammad Reza Mousavi; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Software testing becomes more complex, more time-consuming, and more expensive. The risk that software errors remain undetected and cause critical failures increases. Consequently, in safety-critical development, testing software is standardized and it requires an engineer to show that tests fully exercise, or cover, the logic of the software. READ MORE

  2. 12. On Evaluating Test Techniques in an Industrial Setting

    Author : Sigrid Eldh; Hans Hansson; Sasikumar Punnekkat; Joachim Wegener; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Fault; Failure; Fault injection; Test Techniques; ; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Datavetenskap;

    Abstract : Testing is a costly and an important activity in the software industry today. The systems are becoming more complex and the amount of code is constantly increasing. The majority of systems need to rely on its testing to show that it works, is reliable, and performs according to user expectations and specifications. READ MORE

  3. 13. Healthy women or risk patients? : Non-attendance in a cervical cancer screening program

    Author : Marie Oscarsson; Eva Benzein; Barbro Wijma; Eva Johansson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES; Non-attendance; screening; cervical cancer; health promotion; improverment; informed consent; Obstetrics and gynaecology; Obstetrik och gynekologi; Omvårdnad;

    Abstract : Women afflicted with cervical cancer who have the highest morbidity and mortality rates have been the least likely to be screened. The overall aim of this research project was to investigate non-attendance in a cervical cancer screening (CCS) program among women with no registered cervical smear during the previous five years. 4. 14. Novel clean-up, concentration and laser desorption/ionization strategies for mass spectrometry

    Author : Mohammadreza Shariatgorji; Leopold Ilag; Juan Astorga-wells; Bernhard Spengler; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mass spectrometry; ESI-MS; SALDI-MS; Electrocapture; Sample treatment; Analytical chemistry; Analytisk kemi; Analytical Chemistry; analytisk kemi;

    Abstract : Despite valuable advantages of mass spectrometry (MS) techniques they still have drawbacks that need to be overcome, notably their sensitivity to various kinds of interfering substances and associated difficulties involved in detecting signals from analytes present in trace quantities. Thus, high quality analytical data could be acquired by improving sample pre-treatment techniques and/or ionization methods to increase ionization yields and/or avoid the generation of unwanted ions. 5. 15. Primary Marine Aerosol Production : Studies using bubble-bursting experiments

    Author : Kim Hultin; Douglas Nilsson; Radovan Krejci; Ian Cousins; Åke Hagström; Erik Swietlicki; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : sea spray; water temperature; dissolved oxygen; photosynthesis; bacterial emissions; V-TDMA; mixing state; eddy covariance; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; Applied Environmental Science; tillämpad miljövetenskap;

    Abstract : Aerosol particles affect the Earth’s climate, although their impact is associated with large uncertainties. Primary marine aerosol represents a significant fraction of the global aerosol budget considering the Earth’s 70-percentage coverage by oceans. READ MORE
