    Abstract : This thesis presents a new modelling method for information systems analysis and design, where the concept of service and the principles of service orientation are used for integrated modelling and reasoning about information systems architectures across organisational and technical systems boundaries. The concept of service enables cohesion of the intersubjective and objective modelling traditions by using a single type of diagram that facilitates detection of semantic inconsistency, incompleteness, ambiguity and discontinuity between the static and dynamic aspects of information systems specifications. 2. 2. Mutant p53 reactivation by prima-1 : molecular mechanism and biological effects

    Author : Jérémy Lambert; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Cancer has become one of the leading causes of death worldwide. It is now clear that tumors arise due to the malfunction of a number of genes, thus emphasising the importance of targeted therapies directed to crucial types of genetic alterations. READ MORE

  4. 4. Rescue of mutant p53 family members by the low molecular weight compound PRIMA-1MET/ APR-246

    Author : Jinfeng Shen; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The tumor suppressor p53, guardian of the genome, is induced and activated by cellular stress signals such as DNA damage, hypoxia and activation of oncogenes. p53 upregulates downstream target genes, that are involved in cell cycle arrest, senescence, apoptosis, etc. Mutations in p53 occur frequently (around 50%) in many human tumors.
