1. Hypersexual disorder : clinical presentation and treatment
Abstract : Background: Persistent hypersexual behavior (HB) leading to negative consequences is a phenomenon that has lacked a recognized diagnosis in the psychiatric nomenclature, despite extensive study. Due to differences in the means of assessment and conceptualization of the phenomenon, it has been difficult to compare and generalize from the results of treatment studies. READ MORE

2. IgM and Complement in Regulation of Antibody Responses
Abstract : Animals deficient in complement components C1q, C4, C3, and CR1/2 have severely impaired antibody responses. C1q is primarily activated by antibody-antigen complexes. Antigen-specific IgM in complex with an antigen is able to enhance the antibody response against that antigen. This is dependent on the ability of IgM to activate complement. READ MORE

3. Design and Optimization of Wireless Remote Monitoring and Control System Using the ZigBee Protocol
Abstract : This thesis presents the design and the optimization of a wireless remote monitoring and control system utilizing the ZigBee protocol. From the system architecture point of view, the remote wireless monitoring and control system is mainly combined by 3 parts, the wireless sensor network, the message gateway and the web service. 4. Tumor recognition by cytotoxic T cells : definition of new tumor antigens and the effect of interleukin-10 on antigen presentation
Abstract : The tumor antigens against which T cell responses have been demonstrated most frequently are not tumor specific but are also expressed on normal tissues. This observation has been interpreted as evidence for breaking of immunological tolerance to normal cellular proteins. READ MORE

5. Generating Dendritic Cells by Direct Cell Reprogramming. Merging cellular reprogramming with immunology towards the development of novel cancer immunotherapies
Abstract : Cell fate reprogramming towards pluripotency or alternative somatic cell-types has highlighted the plasticity of adult somatic cells, providing new technologies to generate desired cell types for tissue repair or for disease modeling. There is momentum to bring these concepts to immunology by specifying unique immune cellular identities that set in motion immune responses. READ MORE
