    Abstract : Streptococcus pyogenes, gives rise from mild skin infections and pharyngitis, to life threatening infections like bacteraemia, cellulitis, puerperal sepsis, meningitis, pneumonia, necrotizing fasciitis (NF), and streptococcal toxic-like shock syndrome (STSS), or nonsuppurative sequelae, rheumatic fever and glomerulonephritis.
