2. Fracture healing, functional outcome and health related quality of life in younger patients with a femoral neck fracture
Abstract : Few prospective studies have investigated the patient-reported outcome measures (PROM) in patients less than 70 years that sustained a femoral neck fracture (FNF) treated with closed reduction and internal fixation (CRIF). The health-related quality of life (HRQoL) using the self-administered questionnaires EuroQol 5 Dimension (EQ-5D) and Short Form- 36 Health Survey (SF-36) and with a long term follow-up has not previously been examined in this group of patients.
