  1. 1. Design as Reflection

    Author : Elin Olander; Industridesign; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Product Experiences; Reflective Design; Self-image; Meaningfulness; Stigmatizing; Users with Disabilities; Assistive Devices.;

    Abstract : For young persons with disabilities it is important to be as everyone else and not deviating from the normative in an unwanted way. Assistive devices are products that persons with disabilities can use to get accessibility to our society. Such products enable the person to participate in activities he or she wishes to take part in. READ MORE

  2. 2. Phase retrieval method for quantitative terahertz spectroscopy in reflection geometry

    Author : Kasturie Jatkar; Stefano Bonetti; Magnus Berntsen; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Terahertz; reflection; THz spectroscopy; InSb; Physics; fysik;

    Abstract : Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is a reliable technique used for studying the complex optical properties of materials. Its frequency range makes it suitable for detecting low-energy collective excitations such as phonons, magnons, and plasmons. THz-TDS in transmission geometry has gained much attention over the years. READ MORE

  4. 4. Exploring the intersection of design, reflection and sustainable food shopping practices : The case of the EcoPanel

    Author : Ulrica Bohné; Cecilia Katzeff; Minna Räsänen; Teo Enlund; Pelle Ehn; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Design; reflection; sustainable food shopping practices; social practice theory; research through design; web application prototype; Människa-datorinteraktion; Human-computer Interaction;

    Abstract : Food production has been shown to have considerable negative impacts on the environment. A means to reduce this is to choose organic products when shopping for food. READ MORE

  5. 5. Total internal reflection ellipsometry : principles and applications

    Author : Michal Poksinski; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Spectroscopic ellipsometry has been used under conditions of total internal reflection to form a new measurement technique called Total Internal Reflection Ellipsometry. When measurement settings are appropriate for surface plasmon resonance to occur it is possible to combine the advantages of both ellipsometry and surface plasmon resonance and obtain very high sensitivity and precision.
