1. Fuzzy Control for an Unmanned Helicopter
Abstract : The overall objective of the Wallenberg Laboratory for Information Technology and Autonomous Systems (WITAS) at Linköping University is the development of an intelligent command and control system, containing vision sensors, which supports the operation of a unmanned air vehicle (UAV) in both semi- and full-autonomy modes. One of the UAV platforms of choice is the APID-MK3 unmanned helicopter, by Scandicraft Systems AB. READ MORE

2. Phase retrieval method for quantitative terahertz spectroscopy in reflection geometry
Abstract : Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is a reliable technique used for studying the complex optical properties of materials. Its frequency range makes it suitable for detecting low-energy collective excitations such as phonons, magnons, and plasmons. THz-TDS in transmission geometry has gained much attention over the years. READ MORE

3. Functional analysis of the cervical spine : Reliability, reference data and outcome after anterior cervical decompression and fusion
Abstract : The aim of the thesis was to investigate the reliability of the test procedure, and to obtain reference values for active range of motion (AROM) of the neck, neck-, and hand strength. Another aim was to perform a broad assessment of outcome in patients with cervical disc disease operated on by anterior cervical decompression and fusion (ACDF) and to identify predictive factors for a good outcome. 4. Challenges in Enzyme Catalysis - Photosystem II and Orotidine Decarboxylase : A Density Functional Theory Treatment
Abstract : Possibly the most fascinating biochemical mechanism remaining to be solved is the formation of oxygen from water in photosystem II. This is a critical part of the photosynthetic reaction that makes solar energy accessible to living organisms. READ MORE

5. Rectal prolapse, internal rectal intussusception and the ripstein rectopexy : a clinical, physiological and radiological study
Abstract : The aim of these studies was to increase the knowledge about rectal prolapse and internal rectal intussusception, with special reference to bowel function and treatment with the Ripstein rectopexy. Results after the Ripstein rectopexy in 69 patients with rectal prolapse and in 43 patients with internal metal intussusception were evaluated. READ MORE
