  1. 1. Aspects of Optimisation of Separation of Drugs by Chemometrics

    University dissertation from Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Author : Valérie Harang; Uppsala universitet.; [2003]
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pharmaceutical chemistry; optimisation; separation; chemometrics; high performance liquid chromatography; electrodriven techniques; microemulsion electrokinetic chromatography; statistical experimental design; molecular modelling; chiral separation; cellobiohydrolase; Farmaceutisk kemi; PHARMACY Pharmaceutical chemistry; FARMACI Farmaceutisk kemi;

    Abstract : Statistical experimental designs have been used for method development and optimisation of separation. Two reversed phase HPLC methods were optimised. READ MORE

  2. 2. Controlled dust separation : theoretical and experimental study of the possibilities of controlled dust separation in copper producing processes

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Caisa Samuelsson; Luleå tekniska universitet.; [1999]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Process Metallurgy; Processmetallurgi;

    Abstract : Dust is generated in high temperature processes, such as incineration plants, power plants and within the metallurgical industry. The amount of dust generated, chemical and mineralogical composition of the dust as well as physical properties will largely depend on the process generating the dust but also on the off gas system used. 3. 3. Chromatographic separation of wood constituents

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Niklas Westerberg; [2014]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; biorefinery; mathematical modelling.; Norway spruce; separation; chromatography;

    Abstract : In a modern kraft pulp mill only about 45 % of the incoming wood is present in the pulp and it is mainly composed of cellulose. The remainder of the wood, which is dissolved in order to liberate the cellulose fibres, e.g., hemicellulose and lignin, ends up in the mill´s recovery boiler to recover the latent energy. READ MORE

  4. 4. Acoustic separation of submicron particles in gaseous flows

    University dissertation from Stockholm : KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Author : Ramin Imani Jajarmi; KTH.; [2015]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Acoustic; submicron particles; gaseous flows; separation; Teknisk mekanik; Engineering Mechanics;

    Abstract : The separation of submicron particles suspended in gaseous flows is a problem of great importance and is the subject of sustained research efforts. This is motivated by several challenges presented by modern science and technology requiring high separation efficiencies for submicron particles. 5. 5. Development of Separation Phenomena on a Passenger Car

    University dissertation from ; Chalmers tekniska högskola; Gothenburg

    Author : Sabine Bonitz; [2018]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; complex flows; vehicle aerodynamics; vortex formation; limiting streamlines; crossflow separation; flow separation;

    Abstract : The general shape of a vehicle influences its aerodynamic performance through separation phenomena and flow structure development. Since these flow characteristics have a direct influence on the energy efficiency, safety and comfort, it is essential to study their formation and evolution into the freestream. READ MORE
