  1. 1. On Prism-based Motion Blur and Locking-proof Tetrahedra

    Author : Mads Rönnow; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; continuous collision detection; locking; GPU; parallel; real time; FEM; motion blur; prism;

    Abstract : Motion blur is an important visual effect in computer graphics for both real-time, interactive, and offline applications. Current methods offer either slow and accurate solutions for offline ray tracing applications, or fast and inaccurate solutions for real-time applications. READ MORE

  2. 2. Motion Planning for Heavy-Duty Vehicles

    Author : Rui Oliveira; Bo Wahlberg; Georg Schildbach; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : Autonomous driving is a disrupting technology that is expected to reshape transportation systems. The benefits of autonomous vehicles include, but are not limited to, safer transportation, increased economic growth, and broader access to mobility services. READ MORE

  3. 3. Some aspects of the slow motion problem in the NMR-relaxation theory : a theoretical study of high spin systems

    Author : Per-Olof Westlund; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : A theory of nuclear spin relaxation in paramagnetic complexes, allowing for the electron spin relaxation to be in the slow motion regime, is presented. The lattice i3 described in terms of the electron Zeeman interaction, a zero field splitting (ZFS) and a Markov operator for the relevant classical degrees of freedom. READ MORE

  4. 4. Nuclear spin relaxation in paramagnetic metal complexes and the slow motion problem for the electron spin

    Author : Nikolas Benetis; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : A general theory is derived for the relaxation of ligand nuclei in a solution of slowly tumbling paramagnetic complexes with a static zero-field splitting interaction. The Solomon-Bloembergen-Morgan theory, which is the approach traditionally taken in studies of this kind, is shown to be the limit of the new theory when the electron Zeeman interaction dominates over the zerofield splitting interaction and when the exchange rate is significant. 5. 5. On Optimization-Based Coordination of Automated Vehicles in Confined Sites

    Author : Stefan Kojchev; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; motion control; cooperative systems; optimal control; Automated vehicles; optimization.; multi-agent systems; graph theory; optimal scheduling;

    Abstract : Autonomous driving is a major technological challenge, offering potential improvements in safety, efficiency, and comfort for daily transportation. However, the full-scale implementation of fully automated vehicles (AVs) remains distant, primarily due to safety concerns. READ MORE
