11. System analysis of a PV/T hybrid solar window
Abstract : A building-integrated multifunctional PV/T solar window was suggested and developed by Andreas Fieber. The solar window is constructed of PV cells laminated on solar absorbers placed in a window behind the glazing. READ MORE

12. Solar Assisted Pervaporation : A process for the concentration of fruit juices in membrane pouches with solar energy
Abstract : Drying has been used for thousands of years to preserve foods. One of the first methods used was open air sun drying which exposes foods directly to solar radiation and ambient air. This method is still used today around the world but it remains underdeveloped on a small-scale for two main reasons. READ MORE

13. Thermal Radiation from Co-evaporated Cu(In,Ga)Se2 : End point detection and process control
Abstract : The use of solar cells for energy production has indeed a bright future. Reduction of cost for fabrication along with increased efficiency are key features for a market boom, both achieved as a result of increased knowledge of the technology. READ MORE

14. Molecular responses of plants to solar UV-B and UV-A radiation
Abstract : Plant responses to solar ultraviolet radiation (UV, 280-400 nm) were assessed at different molecular levels using Betula pendula Roth (silver birch) and Arabidopsis thaliana (Arabidopsis) as model species in outdoor experiments to assess the possibly interacting roles of the UV-B and UV-A wavebands in acclimation to sunlight. Solar UV-B (280-315 nm) and UV-A (315-400 nm) irradiance was attenuated with plastic films. READ MORE

15. Climate Related Thermal Actions for Reliable Design of Concrete Structures
Abstract : When the temperature changes in the environment the temperature will also change in a structure. Complex interactions of climate factors affect the temperature changes. When the temperature is varied in a material it will expand or contract, and movements will be produced. READ MORE
