21. Techniques for Efficient Constraint Propagation
Abstract : This thesis explores three new techniques for increasing the efficiency of constraint propagation: support for incremental propagation, improved representation of constraints, and abstractions to simplify propagation. Support for incremental propagation is added to a propagator centered propagation system by adding a new intermediate layer of abstraction, advisors, that capture the essential aspects of a variable centered system. 22. Tools for Understanding, Debugging, and Simulation Performance Improvement of Equation-based Models
Abstract : Equation-based object-oriented (EOO) modelling languages provide a convenient, declarative method for describing models of cyber-physical systems.Because of the ease of use of EOO languages, large and complex models can be built with limited effort. READ MORE

23. Robust Estimation of Motion Parameters and Scene Geometry : Minimal Solvers and Convexification of Regularisers for Low-Rank Approximation
Abstract : In the dawning age of autonomous driving, accurate and robust tracking of vehicles is a quintessential part. This is inextricably linked with the problem of Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM), in which one tries to determine the position of a vehicle relative to its surroundings without prior knowledge of them. 24. Fast-Neutron Tomography using a Mobile Neutron Generator for Assessment of Steam-Water Distributions in Two-Phase Flows
Abstract : This thesis describes the measurement technique of fast-neutron tomography for assessing spatial distributions of steam and water in two-phase flows. This so-called void distribution is of importance both for safe operation and for efficient use of the fuel in light water reactors, which compose the majority of the world’s commercial nuclear reactors. 25. Snowmobile, motorcycle and moose-car accidents : aspects on injury control
Abstract : Injuries related to snowmobiles, motorcycles and moose-car collisions have increased. The aim of the present thesis was to analyse mechanisms and consequences in fatal and non-fatal accidents of these types, and to penetrate possible preventive measures.SnowmobilesThe median age of the injured was 30 and of the killed 32, males predominating.
