  3. 13. Nuclear structure studies in the vicinity of the doubly closed shell nuclei ¹³²Sn and ²⁰⁸Pb by means of beta and alpha decay

    Author : Peter Carlé; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Experimental data of neutron-rich even tin, antimony and tellurium nuclei studied in beta decay are presented. Some of these nuclei are differing from the doubly closed shell nucleus 132Sn in only a few nucleons. The alpha decay of astatine and polonium nuclei in the vicinity of the doubly closed shell nucleus 208Pb has also been studied. READ MORE

  4. 14. Some binary response situations : theory and applications

    Author : Karin Dahmström; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : In a binary response situation we are studying an event which either occurs or does not occur. Such situations are treated in the following five reports. In report I, there is a review of different statistical models and analysis methods for, in particular, nonexperimental surveys. READ MORE

  5. 15. Molecular dynamics in membrane systems : an ESR spin label study

    Author : Magdalena Ehrström; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The ESR spin labeling technique has been used to investigate order and motion in medel lipid systems and in biological membranes under various experimental conditions.The effects of CaCl2, MgCl2, LaCl3 and some alkali halides on B. READ MORE
