    Abstract : Link speeds in networks will in the near-future reach and exceed 100 Gbps. While available specialized hardware can accommodate these speeds, modern networks have adopted a new networking paradigm, also known as Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), that replaces expensive specialized hardware with open-source software running on commodity hardware. 2. 2. A solution space perspective on customization

    Author : Nikolas Käkelä; Joakim Wikner; Annika Engström; Mohammed Naim; Jönköping University; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; customization; solution space; engineer to order; configure to order; mass customization; organizational learning; kundanpassning; lösningsrymd; konstruktion-mot-order; konfiguration-mot-order; masskundanpassning; organisatoriskt lärande;

    Abstract : Customization is an important feature in today’s manufacturing industry. Although this sector is typically associated with standardization and mass production, the increase in global competition, technological development and demand for product variety has driven many manufacturers, starting from the end of the last century, to offer customized products and services. 3. 3. Law in Progress? : A Contextual Study of Norm-Generating Processes - The Example of GMES

    Author : Anna-Karin Bergman; Rättssociologiska institutionen; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Sociology of Law; Law; Law in progress; GMES; norms; Norm-generating processes; Norm-model; Technology; Earth Observation; Systems analysis; Values; Environmental management; Business;

    Abstract : This PhD-thesis in Sociology of Law studies ”Law in Progress” by investigating norm-generating processes, which emerge through an interaction between actors over time. The thesis has an empirical approach, thus illustrates these processes through an empirical example, a European “Earth Observation” (EO) initiative: Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES). 4. 4. Controlled growth of metastable Ta3N5 semiconducting films

    Author : Jui-Che Chang; Ching-Lien Hsiao; Jens Birch; Grzegorz Greczynski; Martin Rudolph; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The semiconductor tritantalum pentanitride (Ta3N5) is a promising material for green energy applications, specifically in the photoelectrolysis of water to produce oxygen and hydrogen. With a bandgap of approximately 2 eV, Ta3N5 is well-suited for efficient solar light absorption across a broad spectrum, and its band positions align favorably with the redox potential of water.
